From Restoration to new musicals and Shakespeare to Commedia Dell’Arte, I’ve had the chance to explore many styles of theatre. What I love about theatre is that it allows us to experience and question a wide array of emotions, topics, and stories in an engaging and intimate setting. I also enjoy the collaboration and athleticism required to put on the live event.
Having the chance to teach has been an extremely rewarding experience.
While at the University of Windsor I was a teaching assistant for three years. At the University of Florida (UF) I was a graduate assistant for multiple courses as well as an instructor for the ‘Beginning Improv’ course where I taught improv to undergrads in the school of theatre and dance as well as those majoring in other disciplines. Seeing the students grow and form a connection with performance was amazing. In my final year at UF, I was a recipient of the Graduate Student Teaching Award.
